FAQ

Here are some our most frequently asked questions! However, if you can't find what you're looking for please don't hesitate to reach out here.

What is our brand's commitment to sustainability?

From the start of WOS, we have prioritized ethical practices in our production in hopes to offer slow fashion products without breaking the bank. To keep our apparel accessible while staying true to our values, we've been actively evolving our production processes. We're continuously researching and seeking out better resources, and we promise to keep you informed every step of the way. But our commitment to you will always remain the same, we believe it is our responsibility to provide apparel that is high quality, long lasting and made with ethical materials through ethical processes.

Where are we sourcing our blanks/garments?

Our main supplier is ASColors, a company that aligns with our beliefs and morals. Their priorities include sourcing organic materials grown without herbicides or pesticides, removing 99% of plastics from their supply chain, using certified non-toxic dyes, and partnering with factories that meet ethical supply chain requirements. For more information on ASColors, their supply chain or ethical guide check out their site!

What materials do you use in your products?

We aim to work with suppliers that make 100% cotton and when it's available, we prioritize 100% organic cotton. Along with this, we try to avoid working with alot of of synthetic materials, and when necessary we use only 100% recycled polyester. Currently, our ink is water based to further our efforts in removing plastics (plastisol) from our process.

How is our artwork printed on the apparel?

We print the majority of our styles in house and occasionally outsource to other US based print shops. We prioritize working with other small businesses to ensure everything is printed in small batches with care. Whether it is printed in house or by another print shop, each garment is printed using water based ink to further remove plastics (i.e plastisol) from our process.

How to care for our apparel?

The best way to reduce wear and tear on your garments while also reducing water and energy consumption, is to  wash your garments less and avoid any unnecessary heat from water or the dryer. With all of this in mind, always check your tag for care instructions that you can follow.

What sizing do you offer?

We are committed to offering inclusive sizing and will always do our best to ensure that our products are accessible to everyone. However, because we do not manufacture our garments and only handle the printing, there may be some limitations in the sizes available. Our focus on ethical sourcing adds an additional layer of complexity, sometimes making it more challenging to provide a full range of sizes. But we will continue to do everything we can to offer inclusive sizing when it is available to us.
